About Pulsyn

Pulsyn is a privacy-first health technology company. We are building Rune 1, a smart ring that keeps your health data on your device by default.

Founder's Letter

I started Pulsyn because I wanted a health tracker I could trust with my own body. The wearables I tried all asked for the same trade: hand over your most personal data, and we will tell you what it means.

That trade never sat right with me. Your sleep, your heart rate, your recovery: this is the most personal information you have. It should become useful to you before it ever has to leave your hands.

So Pulsyn works the other way around. Rune 1 measures your heart rate and HRV, blood oxygen, sleep, and skin temperature, and the analysis happens on your device. What your ring learns about you stays with you.

Privacy is where we start. Your data stays on your device by default, and we never sell it. The core features are free forever. If you ever share anything, that is your call to make.

I want to be honest about the limits too. Rune 1 is a general wellness device, not a medical device. It will not diagnose you or replace your doctor. It shows you your own patterns more clearly, so you can act on them.

Thank you for reading this far. If this is the kind of health technology you want to wear, I would like to build it with you.

Pulsyn is small, and the work is open-ended. The people who fit here direct themselves: they pick up undefined problems and finish them.

There is no application portal and no list of open roles. Write a short email instead, and cover four things:

  1. Who you are, in a few sentences.
  2. Why Pulsyn, specifically.
  3. What you are unusually good at.
  4. What you want to build or change here.

There are no listed openings, so write only if the above sounds like you. Unconventional backgrounds are welcome. A reply is not guaranteed.
