Deleting your data and account

How to delete your Rune 1 health data, cloud backups, journal entries, and Pulsyn account.

Last updated: July 13, 2026

You can delete your data from the Pulsyn app or by contacting us. The right approach depends on whether you want to remove local data, cloud backups, or your entire account.

Delete local health data

In the Pulsyn app, go to Settings > Data > Delete local data. This removes stored biometric data from your phone. It does not affect data already synced to the cloud if you have cloud sync enabled.

Delete cloud sync data

If you use Pulsyn Pro with cloud sync, go to Settings > Data > Delete cloud data. This removes your encrypted backups from our EU servers. We use a zero-knowledge architecture, so we cannot read this data before or after deletion. The encrypted blobs are permanently removed on request.

Delete journal entries

Journal entries live only on your phone. To remove them:

  • Delete individual entries from the Journal screen.
  • Use Settings > Data > Delete local data to remove all on-device app data, including the journal.

Because journal data is never synced, there is no cloud copy to delete. See Using the Journal.

Delete your account

To delete your Pulsyn account entirely, email legal@pulsyn.tech with the subject "Deletion Request" from the email address associated with your account. Account deletion removes:

  • your account profile and login credentials
  • any cloud sync data linked to your account
  • associated order data kept only as long as legal retention requires

Local data on your phone must be removed separately through the app. We do not have access to your device.

How long deletion takes

Most in-app deletions happen immediately. Account deletion requests are processed within 30 days, with urgent matters typically handled sooner. Order records required for tax or legal reasons are retained as stated in our Privacy Policy.
