App won't open or crashes
What to do when the Pulsyn app crashes, freezes, or won't launch.
Last updated: July 13, 2026
If the Pulsyn app crashes on launch, freezes, or stops responding, try these steps in order. Most issues clear up without losing data.
1. Force-close and reopen the app
On iOS, swipe up from the bottom of the screen and swipe the Pulsyn app away. On Android, open the app switcher and swipe Pulsyn closed. Then reopen it.
2. Restart your phone
A full restart clears temporary memory and resets stuck Bluetooth states. This is usually the fastest way to fix odd behavior after an OS update.
3. Check for app updates
Open the App Store or Play Store and make sure you have the latest version of Pulsyn. Updates often include fixes for known crashes.
4. Check your phone's operating system
Make sure your phone is running a supported iOS or Android version. Very old OS versions can cause compatibility problems.
5. Reinstall as a last resort
If the app still will not open:
- Delete the Pulsyn app from your phone.
- Reinstall it from the App Store or Play Store.
- Sign in with the same account.
Important: If you do not use cloud sync, your health history is stored only on your phone. Reinstalling without a local backup may remove that data. Export your data first if you can. See Exporting your data.
6. Contact support
If the app crashes after reinstalling, contact support@pulsyn.tech with:
- your phone model
- your operating system version
- the app version
- when the crash happens
For the fastest general help path, also see Getting in touch with support.
